Hulton
“A music career isn’t built in a year or two. It’s built over decades. So my next steps are really about maintaining that long-term mindset and just continuing to hustle.”
Hulton entered the music industry with no connections and limited knowledge of how things worked. He released his first track at 18, and from that moment, immersed himself in learning the craft by attending events (such as Big Team’s Elevate Us events) watching tutorials, listening to podcasts, and putting himself out there. Despite feeling “late to the party” compared to other young talent, Hulton’s determination and curiosity drove him to explore every opportunity.
Working with Big Team has been transformative for Hulton’s career. Through programmes like Next Level, he gained mentorship, practical industry insight, and performance opportunities that helped him grow as both an artist and a professional. These included performing at Glastonbury and other major festivals, as well as participating in creative weeks and events such as Love Saves The Day and Forwards Festival. Hulton credits these experiences with boosting his confidence, developing his stage presence, and providing the guidance needed to navigate the industry.
Big Team also supported Hulton in building his audience, capturing content from performances to grow his social media presence and fanbase. Beyond technical skills, the programme helped him discover and embrace his creative identity, giving him belief in the value of his work and the drive to pursue a sustainable music career.
Hulton shares that: “I think Big Team is a real gem in the world for people chasing creative dreams.
For me personally, they took someone with no real connection to the music industry and gave that person space to learn, explore, and understand the industry. Through events like Elevate Us, talks, and the opportunities they create, they help turn what feels like a distant dream into something that actually seems possible.”
Looking ahead, Hulton aims to perform widely, release new music consistently, and maintain a long-term career in festivals and the wider creative industry. His journey demonstrates how access, mentorship, and opportunities can transform passion into real, tangible achievements. Hulton’s main aspiration in the festival industry is simple: perform as much as he can, in as many places as he can.
One of his big goals is to continue being the only rapper on the planet releasing two new songs every week. To keep pushing out content, connecting with more people, and building that consistency over time.
